I just passed the 50 year milestone. That's me on my dad's knee. No not the stuffed tiger, the other one. Hey I still have that stuffed tiger! I wish I could say the same about my dad.

My parents were thin, eh? They would have been in their 70's now if it weren't for that drunk driver. 'Nuf said about that. I plan to do much better if I can avoid accident and illness.

Most people hope to count backwards on this site, but I/m counting forward to my goal. I have 50 years to go before I hit the triple digits, and I'd better be fit for the trek, because I don't want to FEEL 100, I just want to reach it. And I'm taking my tiger with me.

Fitness Minutes: 24,016

My Goals:
To become a centenarian and be a good role model for a healthy lifestyle for my daughter.
To eat fewer take-out meals, exercise more, and rise earlier in the morning.


My Program:
Watching (and occasionally tracking) what I eat. Cycling to work -uphill- 5 days a week for 10km each way. I weigh myself on WiiFit every day for a year now - love that downward-trending graph! My progress changes from day to day but I only put in the lowest weight achieved on this page. Now I'm in the middle of more Wii exercise: EA Sports Action 2. I completed the 21-day Cardio Program and am in Phase 2 of the 9-week Program. -EASY it says. Sweat just POURING off, and averaging about a pound a week. But I can do it, so I guess it must be easy.



Personal Information:
I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean. My daughter is 39 years younger than me, and extremely fit. Her dad has a big tummy but he's still pretty fit. I HATE exercise for the sake of exercise and have to trick myself into it.


Other Information:
I would rather sit and read a book.
