Getting Back to Fit

I've spent the last 5 years or so slacking off on my fitness, relying on my good genes to keep me healthy. I will turn 53 this year and have a class reunion next summer. It's time to quit being a slacker and get FIT!

My Goals:
1. Lose 5% (8.1 pounds) during the 8 week challenge.
2. Reach 135 pounds by July 1, 2014.
3. Walk 1/2 marathon in September.

My Program:
1. Limit calories to 1200-1500 daily.
2. Exercise at least 30 minutes 6 days per week.
*3 days cardio (Airdyne, walking, DVD)
*3 days yoga
3. Limit desk/computer time, and get 10,000 steps most days.

emoticon Michelle - so good to have you on the team! I had to laugh when I saw the comment about Lilias, Yoga and You. I used to watch that on PBS also. That certainly is a blast from the past. I would like to do more yoga, I think I'll make that one of my goals for the 8 week challenge!
