Getting Ready for Sexy Spring!

January 9, 2014: Well it's been a few months since I've been on Spark, and boy do I need to be back! I got married, went on an amazing honeymoon, gave up on eating right for the past almost four months and worked out only a handful of times. What a mess I am! But I'm here and ready to be back on track.

I weighed myself this morning and made a goal to lose 25 pounds. That would get me 10 pounds below my usual maintenance weight but I got there before and I want to get there again. ...

Here's how I'll meet my goal:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will track my food every day and stay under the calorie maximum given to me by Spark.
I will work out five days a week, and three of those days will include strength/circuit training.
I will be active here on Spark for support as needed.
I will check in daily with my husband, "Mr. Days" and let him know how my progress is coming.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A little about me: I've been on Spark for five years! I met my AMAZING husband here which makes all of everything worth it!

I work out 5 days a week for an hour. I have an old-school Nordic Track ski machine that gives me a great, sweaty workout. I can adjust the tension on the skis and I love that after all these years I still have sore legs when I'm done!

My downfall is food. I tend to eat badly and compulsively. My body is very unforgiving, and I have to be very careful if I want to stay at a weight I'm comfortable with. Spark is here to help me be very careful!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a new and beautiful life, and it's time to refocus on health and fitness!
LOL! You know what's funny is that it's not as hard as you think. I already drink lots of water so it's just making sure it reaches that 100 mark and that it's consistent. That's definitely the hardest part for me. But this is only day 2, so what do I know? :)
Short answer, no I'm not back....
Long answer, I'm kiiiiinda back. lol. Actually , I just started a wordpress blog. You should read it! My goal is 100oz of water over the next 100 days.. I'm thinking of maybe adding a physical challenge along with that. But after talking to LOTS of people and reading tons of articles, I've come to the conclusion that one of the best, most positive things you can do for your body is to consume more water. So here I am...trying to ensure I reach 100oz a day. :)
