Originally from Ontario but settled back in Canada after living in San Francisco for over 16 yrs. Back in Canada since 1976.

Worked as exec. sec'y/asst. in various fields including horse racing, banking, insurance, law, exec. search. Sold real estate for a time. Owned and ran our own company for 36 years.

Widowed, no children. Do a lot of reading, mainly non-fiction.


Other Information:
I'm the curious type - about people, diets, and health. Love classical music and jazz.

Thanks for the beach ball! I live on the Chesapeake Bay. I haven't seen a sandpiper on our beach. We do have Canadian geese and seagulls.

Thanks for the suggestion, Helen, re mojo, but when you don't have your mojo, you just say to heck with it and put on something bigger. I'm still looking and am hopeful I'll find it soon. You know me, you can't keep this dawg down for long.

Helen.... Thank you for stopping by my blog.... funnily, as much as my grands cheered me, both my daughter and daughter-in-law admonished me for doing something as foolish as doing this without having anyone around..... and I felt like a truant child who didn't inform momma of some mischief I was up to.....Understand at my age I can't afford to take chances....
