A little bit about me.

Hi everyone, I'm married with 3 grown up kids, some or all of whom are at home at any one time!

I put on around 3 stone over about 5 years and now I am determined to get rid of it for good. It is proving harder than I thought to stay on programme so Sparkpeople is helping me with all the monitoring of foods and exercise I am doing.

My Goals:
I want to lose 30lb and be a lot healthier

My Program:
I am trying to stick to the calories given me and to do most of the exercise. I also belong to an online bootcamp so use that for exercise three a week or so.
My pedometer is a life-saver and I wear it everywhere.

Hello. I thought I’d share a personal observation that seemed to have been a popular one. I hope you don’t mind if I share it again:

Every fat cell acquired through life is accompanied with either a good or bad memory. No wonder losing weight is such an emotional journey!

Howdy! If we can’t do 1 sit-up, why set a goal to do 100 sit ups by the end of the week? Although we may have the desire to set miraculous goals, temper them with reality and tone the goals down into achievable goals…then we will reap a feeling of success instead of failure and frustration. Another new day is here! You're doing great! Keep up the hard work and sacrifices!

It's super Saturday! If you've ever been late for work. Late for a date. Felt too old to change. Missed the boat/train. Fell off the wagon. Took a sabbatical. Derailed while on vacation. Bad stuff happened in life. It’s okay to be late. All LATE stands for is:

L-augh
A-t
T-he
E-xperience

Then get back on track. There’s years worth of empty days ahead to fill with good positive choices!
