Can now legitimately call myself a Triathlete.
Hi there, It's June '12 and I'm now midway through my fourth year as a triathlete in Ireland, having completed several Sprint & Olympic distance races by now, and one half ironman last year a feat which I intend to repeat again this year. I have a 3 week hol coming up in Oz which is the immediate motivation behind being on Spark People. I want to fit into those beach clothes. But longer term and more importantly, I want to try create a more consistent healthy eating and training ...

I have a 3 week hol coming up in Oz which is the immediate motivation behind being on Spark People. I want to fit into those beach clothes. But longer term and more importantly, I want to try create a more consistent healthy eating and training approach that prevents the see saw of 1 stone weight gain/loss and fitness levels fluctuations that have been occurring over the seasons since I took up triathlon as a hobby. This site is hopefully going to help me to keep me in check!!

My Goals:
To be consistent in training. To learn how to stop eating after the first reasonable sized portion of junk food is consumed!!! (No need to polish off the packet, or to not buy a packet because I probably WOULD polish off the packet) To maintain a healthier diet without being ridiculous about it, and To maintain a healthy weight and have a nice figure seeing as I am as fit as I am!!
