My Goals:
I'd like to lose 59 lbs.
I want to feel healthy and be a good role model for my kids.
That, and I'd really like to look sexy for my wedding! :)

My Program:
I'm tracking what I eat here under the Nutrition Tracker thingie here on sparkpeople.

EXERCISE ROUTINE (This is what I plan on working UP to. At the moment, I'll be happy with 15 min. on the treadmill 3x/week)

* Monday Cardio for 20-30 minutes (minimum), stretch
* Tuesday Rest or Yoga
* Wednesday Cardio for 20-30 minutes (minimum), abdominal workout, stretch
* Thursday Full Body Strength Training, stretch
* Friday Cardio for 20-30 minutes (minimum), stretch
* Saturday Strength Training, Stretch

**ALWAYS warm up with 5-10 minutes of light cardio prior to strength training.

**Choose 1-2 exercises for each muscle group, & do 1-2 sets of 8-16 reps of each exercise.

* Chest
* Back
* Shoulders
* Biceps
* Triceps
* Lower Body
* Abdominals

**Each week add either 1 rep and/or a few pounds of weight to each exercise to progress. Just keep your reps to 16 or below. Once yo

Personal Information:
I am happily engaged to a wonderful man. We had planned to marry on September 26th of 2014 (this year!), but due to insurance problems (neither of us have any), we may have to postpone it until one of us gets a job with good insurance.
I have two wonderful children. My son, Casey, is 22. And my daughter, Karsyn, is 19. I have a bit of the "empty nest" syndrome going on. It's strange not having them at home. But they have to fly off on their own eventually, right? :)

I love to read. My favorite authors are Dean Koontz, Dan Brown, J.K. Rowling, Richelle Mead, etc...

I did! I had a really nice workout. I used to use a pedometer a few years back, I should definitely do that again. Thank you for the suggestion. emoticon

SO- Did u move around today? A great idea is to purchase a pedometer to track how many steps you take per day. I remember tracking 10,000 steps one time, which equals 5 miles & had blisters on my feet..... emoticon
