Summer fruit love - this time strawberry lemonade concentrate

And then there was apple butter... this one was hard work but ended up with 13 jars... I dont plan to eat it with the current diet but its destined for gifts :)

On the way back down again... I hope!
Time to try again.. having reached a new height of personal obesity and getting utterly disgusted with myself, its time to give myself a kick and get going with a diet that is not me eating high calorie stuff ! Im not a junk food lover but have to draw away from the good things in life from a gastronomical perspective and move towards the really important good things in life - health and well being! Here we go again!!!!

My Goals:
REWARDS (This started a little late as I have now lost 28lbs so I am starting at 40lb as my starting target) 1) Lose 40lbs - food processor! (220lbs) 2) Lose 50lbs - Julia Childs cookbook (210lbs) 3) Lose 60lbs - weekend trip to a luxurious hotel with my darling one. (200lbs) 4) Lose 70lbs - buy some nicer skiwear if its still ski season. (190lbs) 5) Lose 80lbs - blow some $$ on some new clothes (180lbs) 6) Lose 90lbs - Book a massage, facial and pedicure at a day spa - perhaps at Mont Tremblant. 7) Lose 100lbs - buy a flight to see my folks and show the healthier happier me (160lbs) 8) Lose 110lbs - buy my sister a ticket to come visit (150lbs) 9) Lose 120lbs - book tickets for myself and my darling to fly to the Yukon for the northern lights (140lbs) 10) Lose 130lbs - and stay at this weight for a year - book surgery to remove my gastric band. (130lbs) 11) Stay at goal weight for another year - and start checking out fertility clinics
My Program:
1) Working with my lap band instead of fighting it for once, preparing decent salads and healthy foods to eat for work rather than junk. 2) At least 8 hours a night. 3) Walk my dog at least 30 mins a day, and try and do turbojam 6 days a week 4) I need to pass my exams!!!!!

Other Information:
Harry Potter Rules - hence my dog being called Harry Potter, and the additional homage this page pays to him. I do not like Monday mornings, its another 5 days til the weekend! However, I am making the best of it and enjoying life in the interim.
