Hi, I'm a manager of a small programming group for a dental claims clearinghouse. Sitting at a desk for at least 8 hours a day has made it tough to stay in shape. I've never been "skinny" but since college I have put on a few pounds every year and I'm now 50 pounds overweight. Hi, I'm a manager of a small programming group for a dental claims clearinghouse. Sitting at a desk for at least 8 hours a day has made it tough to stay in shape. I use to be far more active and had more fun but I guess I've gotten lazy through the years. My wife and I have recently adopted a little girl from China. She is an absolute joy (both wife and child!) and I want to be able to keep up with them. It's time for a change!

My Goals:
I'd like to go from 215 lbs to 165. I'm planning on dieting by counting calories and to take up jogging. My main goal is to have more energy to do the things I like to do but looking better is a nice bonus.
My Program:
I'm watching my calorie intake and walking/running. I'm working on being able to run a 5k without stopping.
