Time for new goals!

2007 was a year of Heather :) Now grant it, I've been out here focusing on Spark for almost a year and I've only lost 12 pounds -- so, to some that may not seem like a huge success story. But, what I found in '07 was a commitment. I'm working out at least 4 times a week -- and, for much of the year it was more like 6 times a week. I look better -- for example, the vacation pictures taken this holiday season were actually fun to look at (not perfect -- but, I didn't want to cry)! Success has ...
2007 was a year of Heather :) Now grant it, I've been out here focusing on Spark for almost a year and I've only lost 12 pounds -- so, to some that may not seem like a huge success story. But, what I found in '07 was a commitment. I'm working out at least 4 times a week -- and, for much of the year it was more like 6 times a week. I look better -- for example, the vacation pictures taken this holiday season were actually fun to look at (not perfect -- but, I didn't want to cry)! Success has been slow . . . however, I'm ok with that if I can continue this lifestyle change!

2008 -- I commit to changing up the workouts! I'll continue to try classes and incorporate Body Pump into my weekly workout routine. Also, I commit to working out on the road (I promise not to become one of those road warriers that the workout is carrying the extra sneakers in their suitcase rather than actually using the sneakers). Finally, I commit to tracking my food intake.

I look forward to continuing this journey with all my Spark friends. Thank you for your support in '07 and continued support in '08.

My Goals:
Stay active!

Workout 5-6 times/week. Include weights 2-3 times/week.

Focus on the lifestyle change -- not always on the scale.

That being said, would like to lose 13 lbs. by my wedding in November.

My Program:
Use the Spark tools to track everything!

Stay within calorie range.

Continue to workout as stated above.

Hi, Heather! Remember me? :-) Hope you're doing well. I'm not in the group anymore ... so I thought I'd send you a message on your page! Hubby and I just moved again so I've put on a little bit of stress weight, unfortunately. But, as I've said before, I'm back at it again! I hope, this time, to stick with it and lose the weight that I've gained since we got married. I have a pretty aggressive goal - I'd like to lose a little over 30 pounds by October 1st. So ... we'll see! How are you? How is wedding planning? emoticon
