BTW, I love Kent, WA! We tried and tried to move there 3 or 4 years ago, but when the economy crashed we couldn't sell our house. I love it there. Such a nice town. My parents live in right next door in Des Moines. So beautiful up there, and lots of nice people there too. 2122 days ago

Mmmm....I'm inclined to believe it needs to be chicken, mostly because that was what I was specifically told and also because it's fattier, I think, and it's just the right size so you can eat nearly a whole one by yourself (throughout the day) along with the drippings. I think it would be harder to get enough fat using turkey. I was told that if you want an alternative to a steak day, you can do "an egg & chicken day or just an egg day". They both seem to work well for most people and is a nice change from steak. Keep in mind, it's not the protein that fixes the problem as much as the fat.
Some people have to find their right calorie level too. Others can eat unlimited calories and fat, and the more they get the better they do. You're still in the early stages of P3 and it does take time to figure out what works for your body. Be aware of possible food allergies too. Nuts, peanut butter, eggs, dairy all should be added in carefully and one at a time because they sometimes cause problems. Watch for anything with gluten, MSG, or other food additives too~~they are very common allergens.
