Wellllll.....I fell off the wagon a little and I'm being strict for a few days before I face the scales! emoticon I think I'm fairly ok, I didn't go nuts or anything, but I know I'll have some "clean" up to do!

As for the drops, funny you should ask! I've just been experimenting with them today. I made mini sugar free cheesecakes with them (the creamcheese muffin recipe). Also, I finally made up a batch of blended iced coffee and made a bunch of "samples" using several flavors. Here are my "scientific" results:

(I used 5 drops for each muffin--the recipe was 24oz of cream cheese, 3 eggs, 1/2C xylitol, mixed, separated into 4 batches, and 20 drops of flavoring per batch, then filled 16 muffin cups.)

    Cheesecake muffins:
Apple Pie drops--Yum. I added cinnamon to the tops. Would make them again.
Caramel drops--Yumm. Liked this one better than the apple ones.
Marshmallow--Yum. Maybe a couple more drops next time, but they had a nice flavor and I'm thinking w/ real whipped cream on top, flavored w/ matching drops, they would be even better.
Chocolate Brownie Fudge--Nah, I think they tasted weird. I added cocoa powder to the batter already and I think they would have been better w/o the drops. Nothing tastes like chocolate except CHOCOLATE!

    Iced Coffee Results:
I made marshmallow, coconut, caramel, pumpkin spice, vanilla custard, cinnamon danish swirl, chocolate fudge brownie, apple pie.

I made 1 large blended batch and then separated it into 8 little liqueur glasses. I used about 5 drops per quarter cup. In my iced coffee recipe I used strong coffee, crushed ice, xylitol to taste, and heavy cream.

I liked the marshmallow, the coconut, the apple pie, the vanilla custard, and the caramel. I couldn't get the right amt of drops for the pumpkin pie--probably will have to try that one again. And, again, the chocolate was yucky. I tried to make it better by adding caramel drops to make a flavor combo and it was still yucky. The cinnamon danish swirl tastes good in tea, but I couldn't get it right in the coffee. My family tested all samples and we were all in agreement on our findings.

Bet you didn't expect such a scientific report, did you, lol! emoticon

    Thanks for checking in! emoticon

I'm in Sonora, Ca, now. It's a very nice place and beautiful. Very small and simple. The Sonora Pass is gorgeous and a stress relieving place to go. But I really love that area up there too, so pretty and so much to do. I hope you make it back there soon! emoticon
