Hopeless Heather

Hello everyone. I live in the countryside in the Scottish Borders. In the past 20 years I've been on 5 diets, losing weight on each one - unfortunately after each one I ended up a stone heavier than when I started! I've been scared to diet again, I can't afford to gain more weight! Recently however the weight has been starting to affect my health so I need to start the last diet.

The last diet began in March 2009, with a bit of success, unfortunately I took a break over the Summer and that ruined it. Funnily enough it wasn't the break that did for me it was the few weeks at the end of August and in September when I was trying to persuade myself to start dieting again! I've got over that little setback now and am back on the downward trend - wish me luck!

Looking for luck again and if anyone has any spare willpower will they send it my way?

...and that would be me 20 again! Let's try and get there before I'm 50 :) - Well that ain't gonna happen :(
Lets try for the 210lb goal again ...


My Program:
I'm trying to keep below 1500 calories and am going to a local slimming group to be weighed and do a bit of exercise.
Slimming group has closed down so now it's down to me (and you lot)

Yes, 5 whole miles! lol and then did it again the next day! Although i was knackered the second day. Having two days off and then i'm getting back on it again. It was a proper energy drainer. I guess i'm not eating enough for that kind of exercise *Lesson learned*. My boyfriend got it into his head the other day that he was going to start cycling, so i decided that this was probably the best oppertunity i was going to get to give it a go! It's nice to have somebody to go out with.

I found awesome motivation was just simply cleaning my bike. Like yours, mine has been sitting outside in all weathers for about 2 years slowly rusting away. After a good rub down and scraping off most of the rust and oiling it all, i actually WANTED to ride it after all of that effort.

Give it a go :D

Heather, that Lubia bi zeit sounds like heaven! Mmm, green beans! Green beans are a secret way to get me to eat vegetables - I'm a secret veggie hater! But green beans, mmm. And garlic! Mmm. Garlic. I may have to try that. It sounds like it's go lovely with some chicken breasts, actually - George Foreman grill, no need for oil!

May surprise my Mum by actually cooking dinner one of these nights... thanks for that! HAHA.
