Yes, 5 whole miles! lol and then did it again the next day! Although i was knackered the second day. Having two days off and then i'm getting back on it again. It was a proper energy drainer. I guess i'm not eating enough for that kind of exercise *Lesson learned*. My boyfriend got it into his head the other day that he was going to start cycling, so i decided that this was probably the best oppertunity i was going to get to give it a go! It's nice to have somebody to go out with.
I found awesome motivation was just simply cleaning my bike. Like yours, mine has been sitting outside in all weathers for about 2 years slowly rusting away. After a good rub down and scraping off most of the rust and oiling it all, i actually WANTED to ride it after all of that effort.
