Healthier, Happier, Motivation.

My name is Heather. I live in the HOT south, Georgia to be exact. Today (7/30/2012) I have had a 'spark' of motivation and am finally ready to be a happier, healthier, and more confident me. My daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, which in a way is a blessing forcing me to lead a healthier life for my daughter, myself and my husband.

About to give up? Image something with me. Step into the bathroom and stare into the mirror at a reflection you used to despise. Your heart races as you reach for the scale, set it down on the shining, linoleum floor. Your pulse continues to quicken as you shed your jeans, yank your shirt over your head, slip off your socks. You nervously wring your hands together. You place one foot on the familiar cold surface. Another foot. You stare at the ceiling, close your eyes, take a deep breath. One second, two seconds, three seconds. You allow yourself to look down. After months of your hard work, your strain, you struggle, your determination, ther it is. A number that seemed a thousand miles away. A number that defines the healthy, happy, new you that used to be nothing more than a day dream. Your ultimate goal weight. STILL WANT TO QUIT?

My Goals:
Reach my goal weight by My daughters third birthday (02/23).

I want to involve my daughter as much as I can. Its so important to teach her the right and healthy way to live.

My Program:
I want to walk at LEAST 3 miles a day. Including errands, walking trails, every oppurtunity I have to walk I will.

Use my Xbox Kinect at least 3 times a week no matter how ridiculous I look. (20 minute minimum)

Drink water, water, and more water. I'm over my soda kick.
