The Journey to the Marathon

I'm an overweight female. I've always been overweight and I have tried to start SparkPeople four times before but never stuck with it or had much success. I have started a training program this week that will enable to run a marathon in March. My goal is to run the marathon in four hours or less. My husband is not supportive of my wanting to lose weight and is an extremely picky eater so trying to find foods that I can eat and that he will eat is very difficult. He will be deploying soon ...

He will be deploying soon (fourteen days and counting) which will make my food choices a lot easier!

Hi Heather :) I ran across your page while looking for pages of other spouses who were trying to lose weight during a deployment. I just thought I'd drop by and say hi :) How are you doing :)

Heather, thank you so much for the comment on my blog! I think that by tackling your "excuses" one at a time and taking baby steps is a phenomenal way to go! It's all about attainable goals! Stop by again :)
