No One Said It Was Easy

Normally I would have a whole history here. I've decided I need to focus on the last couple years. The years that have happened after I reached my goal. So let's start there. :)

It's frustrating, but I got to a point where as long as I was happy with how my clothes were fitting, as long as I didn't have to buy a size up to feel good, I was ok with the number. It's frustrating, but I got to a point where as long as I was happy with how my clothes were fitting, as long as I didn't have to buy a size up to feel good, I was ok with the number. The scale usually goes up when I add strength training, so I really had to be ok with a slightly higher number.
2011 has been a pretty challenging year for me and my family. I worked out and ate well enough to train for my half marathon in October, but once that was over, I started slipping. Just before Christmas I found a routine that worked... but then my kids were out of school and we were traveling and, and, and. There's always going to be a reason to NOT work out. To NOT eat well. And I am over that.

2012, I'm ready for you. Bring. It. On.

Thank you for the comment on my sparkpage! Yes! I loved just the fun of the whole thing. After many years of saying I would do it. They have a big race calledt"The City to Surf" and am hoping to do that as well. I get back to Perth in august so will see when it is being run. emoticon
