No One Said It Was Easy

Normally I would have a whole history here. I've decided I need to focus on the last couple years. The years that have happened after I reached my goal. So let's start there. :)
In April 2008 I reached my weight loss goal to be 150 pounds. I have had my share of fluctuations. It's frustrating, but I got to a point where as long as I was happy with how my clothes were fitting, as long as I didn't have to buy a size up to feel good, I was ok with the number. The scale usually goes up when I add strength training, so I really had to be ok with a slightly higher number.
2011 has been a pretty challenging year for me and my family. I worked out and ate well enough to train for my half marathon in October, but once that was over, I started slipping. Just before Christmas I found a routine that worked... but then my kids were out of school and we were traveling and, and, and. There's always going to be a reason to NOT work out. To NOT eat well. And I am over that.

2012, I'm ready for you. Bring. It. On.

I got so much out of reading your blogs!! I hope you know you are doing great! We get so tough on ourselves. You are so encouraging to me! I have real rough days and beat myself up for it but i am working to stop that and do what I can. We are all doing the best we can and make these little changes that will really add up to a healthy life! It is nice to have a friend on the journey! I hope your day is going better!
