My name is heather and currently looking to lose some major weight this summer.I have been currently active in exersing and plan on eating right and staying healthy until my goal is reached.Haven't struggled with weight issues all my life until I lost my job and become extremely depressed.I dealt with it for about a year and after a few wake up calls I finally got the help I needed.Now my outlook on life has changed.Was in the dark for so long and now I finally can see the light at the end of the tunnel.Working out gives your mind something to focus on,and really helps with depression.I am much happier than I once was thanks to alot of peoples support!Losing the weight and keeping it off,will definately change my outlook on life.Determination is key,don't set your goals too high,just work little by little to achieve them and you will definately succeed.*smiles*
Finally broke through the platue and lost 30 pounds total!I have looked at pictures when I was at my heaviest and thought how did I let myself go.But today being almost in the 150's,I realize all that hard work it took me to lose it,makes me never want to go back to that way again.I am doing 5k's,and working towards to doing a half marathon.I still work out with my trainer who is great!She pushes me to become the best.My son,and husband do as well.Thanks to all even on here who have supported me through this journey I appreciate that!Thanks!Trainers are heros,just like people on active duty who save peoples lives,and teachers who go that extra mile.Someday I hope to inspire others and be like them :)

To lose weight,get fit,and become a better person because of it.To inspire others who know how hard it is to lose weight and help them to succeed.
Working out with a personal trainer 3 days a week,doing strength training and cardio.And working out the other 3 hard on my own.

Heather, Thanks for the Spark Goodie! And it's awesome that you do 10 miles daily. How long does it take you? I've very in to walking, but with my short legs, the best I can do is a 17 min. mile. Did hike 32 miles for charity a few weeks ago, though. Normal weeks I do about 30+ miles. Best wishes!
