Keep on Track!

I joined Sparkpeople in 2007 to slim down for my wedding. Since then, I have had a baby and completed a professional certification in the last two years. I really need to get back into an exercise and calorie counting routine again to get back on track!

My husband and I bought a house in Camp Hill, PA. We adopted a dog in May 2009, named Rufus, and he fits in with us perfectly. Our daughter Leah was born in January of 2011. I like to spend time with my family and friends, take walks in nice weather, good dinners, and the beach!

Hey Heather! I am restarting SparkPeople today - so far so good! Want to restart with me? Maybe make a little goal for Vegas next month? You should do some pre-damage control for all that drinking you will do! lol

Hey Heather! How is the new job going? It's hard too be good about being healthy when the rest of your life is in chaos. Hopefully you've been doing what you can to keep up with SparkPeople.

As you probably guessed, I am crazy busy with school right now. (I still need to answer your email from last month!!) This semester is busier than I anticipated and I am also pushing to finish writing the computer program to analyze my thesis data. That has been taking longer than we want so I feel pressured to put in extra hours until it is done. I actually got it under control tonight! I still have a few things left to do but they should go quickly and smoothly. Once that is done I think things will feel more manageable.

I don't want to weigh in tomorrow. I was pretty good at the start of this diet week but the past few days haven't been as good as they should. In the past, sometimes reasonable slip up result in a 2 pound weight gain. So even though I wasn't that terrible I am still afraid I'll gain. Even if I just stay the same I will be happy and can just try to be better next week.

Congrats on being over one third of the way to your goal! Looks like you have been doing good! :-)

Oh wow, I didn't realize that my weight loss doesn't show up in the friend feed. I thought that was automatic. I guess I better change my settings before I call out other people! lol

Thanks for the encouragement. You are doing great too! You are right - we just have to keep trying to do better.

Random - I am watching What Not to Wear right now and the chic from Blossom is getting made over!?! Oh memories!
