I'm a married female with two beautiful children that I consider my best friends. One of which is seventeen who dances and is in theatre and will be a senior this year and the other is twelve who plays football and is in Junior High this year. This school year is going to be very hard for me. Definitely one of those monumental years for a mommy. It's time for me to make a permant change before it is to late in life. This school year is going to be very hard for me. Definitely one of those monumental years for a mommy. It's time for me to make a permant change before it is to late in life. I see how fast my kids are growing up and time is flying by and I don't want to be left behind and lonely.
I look forward to meeting new people who are trying to achieve the same goals that I am and have similar interests.

My main interest is of course is my children but besides that I love dance, music, theatre, photography, movies, football, scrapbooking, knitting or just anything that is artsy fartsy. ;)

My Goals:
Most importantly to me right now is to stop caring so much about what people think or what people say. And start focusing more on how I feel and listening to myself. Stop worrying about everyone and everthing so much. I''m the person that is always making sure that everyone is okay and can''t stand for someone to be down, sad or something bothering them. I want to make them happy!!! But it's time that I start making me happy as well and losing weight will definitely enhance this and help me achieve my goals physically and mentally. Focusing on consuming enough water daily, cardio and getting my BMI in a more healthier range. By doing these I know this will help me out physically, mentally and in other things in life.

My Program:
My progress has definitely been slower than I would like for it to be but there is definitely some progress being made. I can't stand water but now if I don't drink a minimum of 8-9 glasses a day I feel icky. My choices have become better and better also. I'm still struggling with consistency when it comes to calories and cardio. 90% of the time I do stay within calorie range and usually on the low end but on the days I'm not in calorie range I'm NOT in calorie range if that makes any sense. I have to make sure that I do something cardio for a minimum of 30min 6 days a week or my weight loss seems stalled.

Personal Information:
Born and raised up north and now reside in Tennessee. Love where we currently live I just wish I felt more comfortable with myself to enjoy where we live more. We have two beautiful children that I''m very proud of and love spending time with. One who is seventeen and will be a senior this year who enjoys theatre and dance. Second child is twelve and is in Junior High this year. He has played football for over 6 years now and loves it.

Other Information:
Love dance, all genres of music, videography, photograpy and really good juicy suspenceful movies. Also enjoy scrapbooking although haven''t had the time to scrapbook in a long time. My daughter and I usually do it together. :) If I had my choice I would sleep in everyday and not wake up to an alarm clock ever!!!! Alarm clocks would be banned due to causing to many psychological problems in people. LOL

emoticon What a fantastic accomplishment! emoticon 13,408 people joined when you did three years ago, and I doubt few are still here. HAPPY THIRD SPARKVERSARY! emoticon

I'm reading the BECK DIET SOLUTION, which isn't a "diet" but she teaches how to THINK like a THIN person. (Got a copy from the library.) I recommend it to everyone. (We have a support team here at Sparks.)

Walking for five minutes is better than walking for zero minutes. Exercise is essential even if I don't do very much at first. I can build up the amount that I do over time, but I have to start somewhere.

Hunger is never an emergency. It is only mildly uncomfortable. I can tolerate it. It will come and go.

I really do deserve credit for breaking old habits and it is essential for building my confidence. Once my confidence grows everything will become so much easier.

If I want to lose weight permanently, I can't make exceptions. I'd rather be thinner. I can't overeat on week-ends or any other time.

I have to develop the habit of eating every bite slowly, while sitting down, so I can fully enjoy it. It is worth developing this habit, so that I can have a lifetime of being thinner.

I'm not going to let any minor setback ruin everything I've accomplished. One mistake doesn't ruin my diet, but falling back into old habits will.
I will recommit to my diet right here, right now!

Exercise is not negotiable for good health. It needs to be a daily lifetime habit and I need to make it so. The hardest part is getting started. I'll feel so much better when I'm done. So get started!

OH WELL! I'm going to ignore this craving. I'm going to do something and let it subside. I'm turning my attention to something else, like exercise.
