Thx for stopping by my blog...! Yes I am certainly a tough taskmaster...doubt there's anybody harder on me than myself!
BUT: I DO cut loose on my bike. Those are fun times...swooping down the hills, etc. AND, less frequently but now & then treadmillin' to my tunes is fun too. However there just is BOUND to be a lot of boring gruntwork...at least in my efforts. Time where I'm just doing it to get 'er done. But that's okay too.
Hi and thanks for your comment on my blog. I think that I am still in the early stages of this lifestyle change - trial and error. I think that if I try to focus on too many different options of exercise, I will become discouraged. My goal is to get through this "training" program, run the 5k and then use running as something I do for fun (if that works). If it never beomes fun I will seriously think about stopping. I find that the aches and pains are getting better with time, so many I would have aches and pains no matter what exercise I do, since I am starting from being a couch potato. Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate it all. And kayaking.....ugh.....I have zero upper body strength at this point in time. Maybe down the road a ways. LOL 1979 days ago
Thank you so much for commenting on my blog. That means a lot to me. Yes, I agree that preventing muscle and tendon injury is the best course of action, but I find that because I am so new to this, I really don't always know where to begin. If I waited until I knew every preventative measure then I would never begin to exercise. Now that I know this is a shin splint, I guess I will have to find ways to prevent the inflammation. You have a great attitude, and a very positive one. I am going to add you as a friend. Thank you for the encouragement. Em 1996 days ago
