Hello, I am a wife, mother and work full time. As a family, we love to hike, bike, and ski. My goal by joining SparkPeople is to lose a few pounds in order to have the agility and mobility required to enjoy the outdoors. Each year I do become healthier by staying active. Now it is time to change my southern eating habits and incorporate a more healthy eating lifestyle.

Tore my ACL & meniscus in 2014 and had surgery that same year. It has been a real struggle recovering from the surgery and I have gained more weight on top of what I had already needed to lose. I also suffer from Hypothyroidism and have been working with my doctor trying to find the right dosage. It has been a real struggle these past few years. I am on a journey to achieve ultimate healthiness inside and out.

Track Food Daily
Workout 5 days a week
- Walk 3 times a week
- Strength Train 2 days a week


2017 Goals:
Be a size 12 by April 13th - visit to family in Alabama
Be a size 8 by June 18th - son's wedding
Workout for 30 minutes each day


My Program:
Ketogenic Diet - Low Carb High Fat way of eating. Consume 20 grams a carbs per day. 100 grams of fat per day. 60 grams of protein per day.

Personal Information:
Originally from the South but currently living in Utah in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.

The husband and I are planning on a trip to Ireland for our 30th anniversary. So I want to be healthy and fit for all the sight seeing and Irish pubs. I have 5 years to achieve my goal and will be ready by 2022!!!!


Other Information:
I love crafts of many kind, but I am an avid crocheter. I can spend hours just crocheting.

Love to read mysteries and science fiction.
