Healthy Mom in 2009

I am a happily married stay at home mom of 2 boys. They are the joy of my life! I love the Lord and feel He has blessed our family.
I strive to workout in some way, every day! I enjoy the alone time (me time!) and I also love the feeling of working out (after it's over ;) Recently, I fell in love with running again. I don't run outside much bc I hate to be cold and it is cold here.

I fall off this wagon a lot because I just get lazy about wanting to measure/count ...

I am fascinated with working out and diets and how our body's work. I think Nutrition is the most important piece of this puzzle but the one I am worst at! haha I will add to my goal list that I will track my food every day....

I look forward to figuring this website out, it looks fun.

My Goals:
Exercise 6 days a week with 1 recovery day.



Watch what I eat: count cals and measure.



Eat within my cal limits (1200-1550)



On cardio days, do it for at least 60 min. On weights days, do an exercise video at home for at least 20 min.



Cut down on FAKE sugars!!







My Program:
Weights 3x/week
Cardio 3x/week (usually treadmill, kickboxing, elliptical, or bike)

Hey Healthy Mom:

I know what you mean about falling in love with running again. I loved, ran a marathon, and then bleh... wasn't motivated to run consistently. Yes, I felt great everytime I went, but I just couldn't motivate myself to keep going.

I found a local running club when I lost my job, and it gave me a new network of people to connect to, and to keep me motivated.
