Hello, I'm a married mother of two. I have always been over weight. I have never made it close to my goal weight because I lose some then gain some back. I have lost over two hundred pounds in my life time, however its the same twenty to thrity pounds ever time. Well I am sick of this! So this year I will make it to my goal weight. I want to RUN! A couple of my friends and I have promised eachother to run a 5 mile race together on July 4 2013! So to reach my goals I will work hard and not give up on myslef, I will believe in myslef even if I have a bad day or a bad week. I WILL DO THIS!

July 4, 2013 I RAN for 5 miles. My good friend and I ran side by side for the first 2.5 miles, but then I was unable to keep that pace. I only stopped to walk during the water breaks. In January I never would of imagined I would be able to run 5 miles. Next on my list is a Triathlon. I will do this Labor Day weekend 2014! So I have plenty of time to be ready. In the mean time I will work hard and sign up to run a race every other month to stay motivated.

My Program:
Track my calories everyday and stay within my range.
Move my body every single day. Cardio for 40 minutes 3x a week
S.T. for 35 mintutes 3X a week.
Bike places instead of drive my car
Get out doors with my girls
Joined a softball team
Stay positive, focused and happy!

I live in Fairfield California. I'm returning to college to become an RN. I have two beautiful girls and a wonderful loving husband.

    Hi there, Pardner! How are YOU doing on our trip through Beckland? I was surprised how much of a challenge eating mindfully is for me. I'd probably have days were I don't eat anything if I really stuck to that. This morning, I ate my breakfast sitting down... but not really mindfully since it was while working on the computer. Oh well, it's good to have a high goal and a minimum requirement, I guess. Please do let me know your experience with this one if you have time. And on to Day Four!

    Yay, thank you SO MUCH for joining me on a trip through The Beck Diet Solution. Just in time! I'm bogged down in Day Two... "Pick two reasonable diets". What did you use last time you went through the book? Would you/will you use them again?

    I want something simple, no-fuss, that doesn't leave me making a lot of choices with more options to make bad ones. People kibble, that's what I want. Why should cats and dogs be the only ones to enjoy it? Chocolate flavored people kibble, that's the ticket!
