Like most women I have never been happy with my weight. However, until about 7 years ago I was at a normal weight for my height. 7 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and gained 49 pounds. I am happy to report that I am cancer free and have been considered cured! However I am now facing other dangerous health issues if I do not change my eating and exercise habits. I have read many encouraging words from sparkspeople and am hoping that community can encourage me to keep working at getting and staying healthy. And maybe I can encourage someone else in the process.
