Thank you for your support and encouragment. Response to my reaching out for my SparkFriends help was the hardest and the best thing I could have done. Getting honest had to come at my own pace as did the revelation that I allowed the old me to surface and before I knew it, food had become the enemy. I saw my surgeon thursday and got honest with him and made the first available appt with my Nutritional team to go over a diet that will work for me. This the scale rewarded me with a new 20 year low, and my BP is back to 106/64 - and I seem to be homing in on my MEquilibrium. Thanks again and God bless all of us each day in our journeys.
Hello my friend. I am so glad my pharmacist helped me through that weird blip on my BP radar. Ironically while today was a great day today my sleeve is terribly angry with me and throws up anything I put in it, so back to basics, water and jello for a while. I'm not discouraged as much as I am annoyed with it. There will be days like this but they are easier to get through with my SparkFriends on my side. Have great day - your friend - "Sprink" 1374 days ago
Great to hear from you. I think my Doc (see latest blog) set me straight, and the Upper GI yesterday confirmed just reboot my sleeve by eating better and more often and keep up with my protein. He's right, I needed to hear that tough love.
Wanted you to know that I am so proud of your success and your 3 month update. It's amazing this journey we're on - for every pound I've lost I've gained ten fold in support from dear friends like you. This gift we have is useless unless we share it, thank you for sharing the gift of your journey with me. Hugs always, your friend - "Sprink" 1397 days ago
