Healthily Ever After!!

This is not the first time I joined SparkPeople. I originally started several years ago, when I weighed 223 lbs. I got down to around 200 lbs. and have hovered around there since.

On Tuesday, May 14, 2013, I weighed in at 204 lbs., and I recommitted myself to SparkPeople that very day. This time, I am forcing myself to take it slow, one baby step at a time, because I tend to go all in and burn myself out fairly quickly. I have an impressive amount of cardio stamina for someone who weighs over 200 lbs., but I have learned that jumping right into an hour a day, 5 days a week just isn't the way to go.

Thanks for the comment to my blog...I've been noticing that I don't feel well after my runs lately...I know I'm low on water intake in general, but I'm just not into drinking it right now....I know, stupid and weird.....but I did buy a hydration belt so hopefully that'll help make me feel a little better during some of my runs...

I miss reading your blog posts and updates...how have you been doing?

Thank you so much for your encouraging words on my blog post "your results may vary"...

I'm so glad that it's not just me who compares the self to everyone...I don't understand it...I've lost 60 pounds...I lost 28 inches...I am not the same physically anymore....but I look in the mirror, and I can totally see the old me...sadly, I hoped when I started losing weight, it would correlate all over my body....you know...10 pounds per pant size or something stupid like that....or maybe the fact that if I lost 60 pounds, my stomach wouldn't still stick out...

If only my mind would catch up to my body...and get out of comparing mode.....

Okay, enough complaining.....thanks for your comment...

And you can totally see the difference with the two pics in your profile picture...you look amazing!
