Path to healthy living!

I'm finally motivated to make goals and keep track of my weight loss progress. I'm a petite (5'0!) 30 year-old woman, and I gain weight very easily -- it's also very easy to see on my short frame. My weight has fluctuated quite a bit over the past 10 years, and I would like to find a good way to maintain a healthy weight. Most of my weight is in my stomach, but I do have pretty big muscles that make me look extra-bulky with every additional pound. :P

My weight has fluctuated quite a bit over the past 10 years, and I would like to find a good way to maintain a healthy weight. Most of my weight is in my stomach, but I do have pretty big muscles that make me look extra-bulky with every additional pound. :P

I have chronic knee pain, so I have to maintain a balanced exercise schedule. Recently, reducing my cardio has led to weight gain... which has been extremely frustrating, as I like to be active every day. My new crosstraining plan (below) will hopefully be a good balance.

Mon - off, or light cardio
Tues - Weights/ light cardio
Wed - Yoga
Thurs - off
Fri - Weights/ light cardio
Sat - off, or light cardio
Sun - Spin

**Reduce carbs and calories, increase protein

**Mainly vegetarian diet
