My Goals:
1. I hope to lose 32 pounds (10%) by May 1, 2009 so I can look better in my clothes in time for my daughter's confirmation.
2. I want to clean the main floor of the house by May 1, 2009.
3. Get all bills caught up by June 1, 2009.


My Program:
1.
a. Follow SP diet of 1200-1400 calories per day.
b. Walk every day and increase the length of the walk each week.
c. Drink 64 ounces of water each day.
d. Get 8 hours of sleep each day.
2.
a. Enlist the help of the children with a chore chart.
b. Clean out my closet by January 31, 2009
c. Help Charlet sew her prom dress by April1, 2009
d. Help Lacy sew her confirmation dress by May 1, 2009.
3.
a. Work one extra shift per week.
b. Take call once a week.
c. Organize trips to cut gas costs.




Personal Information:
I have been married for 27 years and look forward to another 50. We have been challenged with infertility in building our family and have offsprings and onsprings as well as the guardianship of a child whose parents were forced to leave the country. Our oldest son is no longer with us after a plane crash in 2002. Our 19 year old daughter is deaf and experienced paralysis due to infection after jaw surgery. After 6 months, she learned to walk again. We have a daughter dealing with self esteem issues, a son with autistic characteristics, a daughter with feelings of insecurities due to neglect prior to her adoption and a daughter who challenges us to challenge her intellectually. Weight loss is just another challenge we will meet and beat.


Other Information:
My favorite movie is 8 hours long and was on HBO about 25 years "All the Rivers Run."
