Hi! I am a teacher from NW Pennsylvania that needs some extra motivation to lose weight. A few years ago I was doing a good job getting healthy and was side-tracked by the stress in our school district and it just put the breaks on everything in my life. My Goals:
Concentrate on looking and feeling my best at the upcoming wedding of a friend's son.

Journal 3x per week.

Exercise every day.




My Program:
I am starting by journaling , tracking nutrition/water, and eating "clean" as much as possible.
As I progress, adding specific time for vigorous exercise is something I need to work on accomplishing.

Other Information:
My "mantra" for 2010 was "One Thing". I am tired of multitasking. If I can do one thing a day for;
my health, my family, my home, my friends, my career, and me, I think that will be a full day. So far it is working and reducing stress in my life. No longer am I trying to do everything and getting nothing accomplished.
NOTE: This plan didn't work that well. Need to develop a better plan for 2012.

HEY GIRL! Sorry it took me so long to stop by and say HI! I am so glad to hear that IAMTHIN72's story inspired you!!!! She is actually one of my best friends and that's how I got into doing SparkPeople! The main thing to focus on is that weight loss is a life long journey and not a destination.
