Fit and Healthy

I have been chubby my entire life. I saw this website and decided to give it a try. I have tried MANY weight loss programs over the years. I lost the weight - only to gain it back plus more. I hope to develop a lifestyle change that will enable me to become fit and healthy.

There is a saying, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. So I am trying again (almost 4 years since I initially started SP). Hopefully, I will be able to utilize some of the many resources available on this site to help me lose 20 pounds and MAINTAIN a healthy lifestyle.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 20 pounds and become a healthier individual.

My Program:
healthy eating (including more fruits/veggies/water)

exercise (step aerobics, walking, Wii)
I would also like to add weights to my routine.

Personal Information:
I'm a 56-year-old Christian female who lives in Alabama.

Other Information:
I like to read. I try to stay active through walking, doing the aerobic step, and doing the Wii. I also like to do word games on the computer.

Too many people confine their exercise to jumping to conclusions, running up bills, stretching the truth, bending over backwards, lying down on the job, sidestepping responsibility and pushing their luck.

Hi,

Thank you for commenting on my status on the Leader Board. Odd thing is I never looked at any of them LOL. I have been regularly sparking and huddling. Sept was an off month. I struggled just to log in and track my exercise. I am so much better now; working on getting back to where I was before prednisone. I gained a pound and a half last month in spite of exercise and eating right. I can deal with that. I usually gain 6-8 pounds right away when I start the medication. I'm doing well and continuing to chip away a little each day.

I hope you are doing well also. I see that you keep up the exercise and are a leader on your board. You rock girl. Keep up the good work.
