Winter/Spring training plans for marathon May 2017 :

*3-8 mi. run Sun/Tue/Thur
*Long run Saturday, 8-20 miles
*45 min. bike trainer Wed.
*ST 2x weekly
*Plank and core daily

Diet Commitment:

Healthy balanced eating, 1850-2500 calories daily, determined by exercise needs. Approximate 30/40/30 nutrient ratio.

1c water when waking up, 1c coffee am, 1c decaf midmorning, 16oz bottle of water throughout the morning, 12oz sparkling water at lunch, 16oz bottle of water throughout the afternoon, water in evening.

Daily multivitamin and 6000 IU Vitamin D3 daily.

I recently achieved a major goal of losing 50 pounds and getting back into shape. To honor my efforts, I want to go beyond my self-imposed limits and just LIVE. Some bucket list goals for 2016 are: cycle in the Denver Century ride (goal met 6/18/16!!..see photos), get back into the water and learn to swim, and climb a fourteener....stay tuned!!

Goal for Spring 2017: Train and run Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon on May 21. In the past I've run many 5k, 10k, and half marathons but haven't yet been able to run a full marathon due to pesky injuries. I'm in good shape and game to try again! Let's go!

Milestone rewards:
180 - Bike trainer *bought it!*
170 - Fleece half-zip tops *I've been waiting to fit into these again and I can! They're comfy and warm and I slip into them every night after work.*
160 - Home spa afternoon *Did it!*
150 - ?? I don't know....I'd love to drive to Glenwood Springs for the day and soak in the mineral springs??
144 - ??
135 (final goal weight!) - New bras and panties that fit! I've been waiting and working hard and am nearly there!

My Goals:
I am striving to reach 144 pounds (50 pound loss). **Update 5/21/16--I did it! 143.8 this morning....that's 50 pounds lighter than May 2015! New goal is somewhere in the 135-138 pound range...wherever my body feels and performs best and I can maintain without undue difficulty. I'll know when I get there :)**

2015/16 focus: Weight loss and decluttering garage/yard.

2016 focus: Manage osteoporosis, bunion, and urinary conditions.

My Program:
