That was four years ago. This journey has been a rollercoaster. I'm now back in a rut of feeling huge and unhealthy. I hate what I'm allowing myself to do to my body. I know that icecream won't make me any less depressed but I eat it anyways... what do I do?

Having just gotten through the "I feel fat and I hate it" phase myself, I can tell you that you're on the right path to ending it. Half of feeling fat is the feeling! I think you should spend more energy focusing on your victories, and leave the feeling fat part behind. Replace just one unhealthy craving with a fruit, or a salad. It might just be one victory a day, but in the long run they'll slowly get rid of the junk food desires. You can do it!
