HEALTHY-SPARK

Starting over (again).
I feel like I have been watching myself spiral out of control into a freefall the last couple of years. Even though I was trying to go through the motions of living a healthy life -- it seems that I was only sabotaging myself the whole time which resulted in things persistently going the wrong direction from my goals. It really is time to prioritize myself and my health for so many reasons. It's not going to be easy. I'm in the middle of a major job crisis and ...

It really is time to prioritize myself and my health for so many reasons. It's not going to be easy. I'm in the middle of a major job crisis and resulting life crisis of sorts -- but my health is something that I definitely have control over and I can do something about.

(Meet new friends by participating in social activities in my new city, at least once per week.)

I always do much better when I plan -- so my PROGRAM consists of writing out a WEEKLY PLAN on Sundays that includes EATING, EXERCISE and ACTIVITIES.

I know what you mean - I have only occasionally found that I'm just stuck at a plateau and had to bump up to the top of my range, otherwise, I too have to stay at the under 1300 range. Just something to keep in the back of your head if you lose, then stagnate. It doesn't take more than a couple of days for me to convince my body that no, I wasn't going to starve it and it is ok to shed the weight, and then, alas, I have to go back to the bottom of my range!

Hi! I just noticed your adorable kitty profile pic! Our farm cat just had a litter of kittens about a week ago...SERIOUSLY ADORABLE! I just want to pick them up and squeeze them they're so precious. Hahaha! emoticon
