I am starting a new page to get myself back on track. I have given myself a new name to remind me why I am doing this. I was tjdbss,and joined 2/26/09 now I am "Healthy Nana".
My goal is to track my nutrition and fitness daily. I know that my friends on SP will help me to stay focused.

Looks like my weekly posting did not happen, but that is OK. It was probably not wise to say I would post weekly because when I don't see any changes, I get discouraged, and don't feel like posting.
So this month I am just going to concentrate on staying within my calorie range, and exercising at least 3X a week.

Doing good - my weight is at a stand still at the moment. I guess that is better than gaining. Having a great winter season, not too much snow, but enough. Spring is around the corner and I am looking forward to getting outside more and walking. Went to Vegas last week, and walked every day and I so enjoyed that.

Well I am another year older, and still trying to lose that weight. I have been slacking off, but this week I am back on track. I have been to the gym 2 days so far, and plan on going tomorrow again, and my friend is treating me to a pedicure to help with motivating me. We both struggle with weight, and she is my rock, just as I am hers.
We have a deadline now to get healthy - next Feb, we are planning a group vacation to Mexico, so we want to look good on the beach, so we are making every effort to reach our goal.
A new season, new goals. I have set up 5 personal goals for myself for this month. I have lost focused many times over the past months, and the results are starting to show on me.
1 - eliminate BAD CARBS
2 - track food daily
3 - lose 3 lbs a month
4 - remove 1 obstacle weekly from keeping me active
5 - encourage team members daily
Will check in at the end of the month see how things are going.
A month ago I set up new goals for myself. I have not been as diligent as I would like to have been. So I am keeping those same goals and will be working this month to achieve all 5.
A New Year a New Beginning for getting healthy. My mission this year is to eat Low Carb, High Protein meals, drink 8 - 10 glasses of water daily, go to the gym or do some kind of activity 3X a week, and to check in regularly with SP.
This month is almost over, and I am slowly getting back to eating Low Carb. Gave up a few months ago, and started gaining back the weight I had lost. Now I know what I have to do to get healthy. Went back to the Low Carb meals, and I have lost some of that weight. I am determined to continue on this path, and to be able to buy some new clothes for Christmas this year. That is my goal for 2011.

Hi I am Sara from Ontario, Canada. I am married with 2 grown boys, a daughter in law, and 2 fantastic grandkids. I work at a seniors home on the night shift, and quite often come home so tired, I don't feel like exercising or eating right. That is my goal for now - making the time for getting healthy.
I like to read - mysteries with a romantic twist, true stories. I enjoyed reading the Twilight Series, but have not enjoyed the movies as much. I also enjoyed the first 4 Harry Potter books, taking a break from them for now.
I enjoy spending as much time with Logan and Zoe my grandchildren - they are the reason for getting healthy,
My husband and I are on a bowling league, which I am enjoying very much. It is nice to go out and have a stress free night and just laugh and have fun.
He is very encouraging and supportive in what ever I decide to do. He is a wonderful man, and has always been there for me during my ups and downs. Love you Honey!!
