My body is way too sexy to be hidden by a bunch o' fat...

I'm a So Cal girl who was sick and tired of the yo-yo dieting and yearning for permanent change!! And ya know what? The ability for permanent change is only one of the many things that I've found here at SparkPeople...

I am also a newlywed, and although it's sort of backwards to lose weight AFTER the wedding, rather than before, it's time nonetheless!

My Goals:
Well, the name says it all...my goal is to achieve a Healthier Lynn...again! My short-term goal is to lose 7 pounds by April 11th. After allowing my health to take a back seat in my life, I now have 30 pounds to lose, after which it will be time to keep it off, for a change! I am also striving for an increased overall health...."overall" health meaning an increased emotional health, physical health, psychological health...basically a bit of an overhaul is what I'm working towards, and ya know what?? I'm gonna rock it!


My Program:
I started my Lifestyle Change through SP on June 26, 2007 and in a lot of ways it was SO easy! I did what most everyone else on SP does.... I stayed within the guidelines SP set for my nutritional guide (the low end of it!) and I exercised as often as I could.... But, I let all of that progress go... Well, I am sick and tired of feeling pain every day (from Fibromyalgia) and it's far past time I quit stumbling along! I'm taking control...keeping my focus....I'm in THE ZONE, Baby!!!! On my way to the Slimmer, Healthier Lynn!



Personal Information:
As I said above, I'm a So Cal girl, basically born and raised...my mom is my very favorite person on the planet...I'm majorly stuck in the 80s when it comes to music...I'm addicted to my iPod...my weakness is Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, but we won't talk about that! Oh, and one other very important thing to note is that I am a Miami Dolphins fan...a Phins Phanatic, really...completely...faithfully...'til death do us part...

Other information? Well, a lot could be said here! I'll just leave it at this: I'm a bit of a nut, but if you stick around long enough, you'll find that out for yourself! In fact, if you want proof positive, come rock and play with me in "80s Music Lovers"...that's where all the nut jobs hang out! ;-)

    Just droppin' in to say Hi! I've been kind of MIA lately, just wasn't feeling it but it's only been about 3 weeks and I've still managed to keep all my streaks going. I have just been missing the true reason for being on SP.

    Now I just wanted to drop on by and say "hi" I hope you are still on your path to the truly Healthier Lynn!

    I love my gold trophy goodie! Thanks. Of course, I'm writing this on a morning when I skipped getting up early to exercise - ha! But, it was because I went to zumba class last night and I'm also skipping work :) I've been pretty good about getting up, though. I wouldn't exactly call it a habit, yet...
