It's Really Happening!
Hi, I am a 49 year old that wants to feel better before hitting that 50 year old mark! Hey, better late than never! ***On Jan 18, 2008, I hit 50 years old/10months on SP/54.8 pounds down! Things I've learned: It started out being very easy but it gets harder. Reaching a realistic goal is obtainable. Setbacks are inevitable, that's life. Things I've learned: It started out being very easy but it gets harder. Reaching a realistic goal is obtainable. Setbacks are inevitable, that's life. I will never ever give up no matter how long it takes. Support and encouragment are only an "ask" away. Sparkpeople can change your life. Anyone can do it! Now on to the last 51.2 pounds to goal! Here I go again......... My original goal was 148, but my doctor told me to be more realistic. He wants me to reach 180 and stay there, but I want to go down if possible. I take medication that does interfer with my weight loss, but it doesn't make me a failure. So, for right now, I'm going with my doctor's goal of 180 and I won't think I am a failure. It may be possible for me to go down further, time will tell. It also may be more encouragement to have a realistic goal I can achieve. ****"Be aware of your thoughts because your thoughts become your reality". Use positive self talk at all times and don't give in to negative thoughts, give yourself a pat on the back for efforts no matter how small!

My Program:
60 mins 3-4xs a week: T-Tapp, Walking, WATPS, Walkblaster, Bean, Elliptical, Water Aerobics, Biking, Step Aerobics, Pilates, Turbo Crunch, and anything else I can find! Strength Training 30 mins 3xs a week Stay in my calorie range every single day! Stick to my fitness routine, no mater what!
