Food gives me a temporary endorphin rush but it wears off quickly and then I need something else to lift me again. When I pay attention to what I'm eating and exercise, I feel steadier, stronger, and stable. Those feelings replace the quick fix of an endorphin rush and I don't need the pick me up anymore.
