I've been a member of Spark since Aug. of 07, although I didn't start using it until Jan. of 08. I lost 33 lbs. and maintained it for over a year. When I turned 50 I looked and felt the best I had in years.
Life got busy and I slowly gained it all back plus some extra. I've been struggling to get back on track for over a year. I do well for a few days and then I fall off the wagon. I can't seem to find and keep my motivation.
Over the years of losing and not learning how to maintain I've learned that I have to do exercise I enjoy, eat some of the foods I like, and not try to be perfect.
I'm going to try again to get this weight off. I felt so much better and better about myself when I was thinner. I'm not going to make promises that I will reach certain goals by specific dates. That has worked for me in the past, but not lately. I don't want to break any more promises to myself so I'll take it slow.

Thanks for your good wishes yesterday. Staying close to home makes sense as I will need medical tests. Probably more restful too. I'll just have to pop into SP more! emoticon

Well, now I just sound like a whiner ๐Ÿ˜… IKEA is only 48 miles from me but it's in Atlanta and we rarely ever go to Atlanta for anything the traffic is insane. I'm glad you found what you needed and you had gift certificate ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Hi there ... In reference to your comment on my blog re: the "Body Groove" series.. The beauty of this workout is that "you don't have to know how to dance!"... it's based on "movement"... moving the way your body feels ... no judgment ... no pressure... just taking in the music and moving with it. I really love it... a very unique concept; and because all the workouts are really short you don't feel like you are working out, even when you do 2, 3 or more of them... it's just fun!

I hope you try them out and if you do, please let me know how you like it!

Enjoy your day!!! emoticon ~ Dee
