There and Back Again

Hi, I'm me. I don't really know what to write here besides that I'm looking to shed some weight, and I think that the tracking system on Spark People will help me to do that. I like looking at the data.

In the long run, I'm here because I want to be healthier, in better shape, and to improve my self image and self esteem. I am an active person, and I hope to always remain so.

I'm not really concerned with the numbers on the scale, it is nice to see it go down, but ...

I'm not really concerned with the numbers on the scale, it is nice to see it go down, but I can be just as happy at 150 as I could be at 130, as long as I'm fit and healthy.

For workouts, I am mixing up some at home DVD training programs. I'm not a gym rat, I'd rather workout at home.

As far as diet goes, I am attempting 1500-1750 calories a day.

I just answered my own question. I saw your post on the Pure Dedication Page about the program you are doing. ChaLean Extreme is an awesome program. I actually saw my best results when I did a hybrid of ChaLean Extreme and Turbo Fire.

I will definitely look into core/ab workouts once I reach my goal weight, I don't know a lot of ab workouts that aren't floor workouts, but I should be able to find some in the Sparkpeople.com fitness pages, right? :)
