There and Back Again

Hi, I'm me. I don't really know what to write here besides that I'm looking to shed some weight, and I think that the tracking system on Spark People will help me to do that. I like looking at the data.

In the long run, I'm here because I want to be healthier, in better shape, and to improve my self image and self esteem. I am an active person, and I hope to always remain so.

I'm not really concerned with the numbers on the scale, it is nice to see it go down, but ...

I'm not really concerned with the numbers on the scale, it is nice to see it go down, but I can be just as happy at 150 as I could be at 130, as long as I'm fit and healthy.

For workouts, I am mixing up some at home DVD training programs. I'm not a gym rat, I'd rather workout at home.

As far as diet goes, I am attempting 1500-1750 calories a day.

I could never keep anything from my Mom. When I was pregnant, she knew Thank you very much for the comment on my emotional blog! It has been sooooo hard for me to keep this from my mom! She is truly my best friend and I do tell her everything! I really think my mom has a good idea something is going on too! I know that stress is the last thing that baby and I need right now!!! I truly think he will come around too! Thank you again for the comment and advice! It is very much appreciated!!!

I can understand how Chalene may not be everyone's cup of tea. I think she's great and has been a huge inspiration for me. I'm reading her book Push. It's about fitness obviously, but also goal setting, how to get organize and get the best out of life. All the Turbo Fire workouts vary in time. The HIITS are 15, 20 and 25 minutes. The other cardio workouts are 30, 40, 45 and 55 minutes. Then there are additional advanced workouts that can be longer.
