Heather's Journey

I am 26 years old and have been married for 5 1/2 years. I have a daughter who is 2 1/2 and as I only gained 19lbs with the pregnancy I have gained all that back and more. I am a good 50+lbs overweight. I struggle getting pregnant and I know that exercising and losing weight will help that a lot. I know I need to lose weight and change my life but saying it is much easier than doing it.

Hey, cuz! Welcome to SparkPeople. I'm glad to see we're in a few groups together, and I know you'll have the success I've seen.

Take care,

Hello,

Welcome to the "O.O." family. You've definitely come to the right place. I'm Jack.
I wanted to take the time to let you know, that my wonderful wife, Carol has stepped down as team leader, and I have taken great pride in taking her place here in Overcoming Obstacles.
Carol has worked very hard at recruiting, and making this forum what it is... somewhere where "angels congregate to carry one another to our goals" as she put it, and I will always stand by, because it's is true.
She did mention, however that she will be here, to council anyone who needs to talk, she is a fantastic counselor, and has helped many here, and wishes to continue to do so, all in strictness of confidence. (Please feel free to sparkmail her, as she wants to be there for you, and loves to receive sparkmail) She will continue to be part of OO as well. (Her user I.D. is tickle*me*pink)
There are challenges posted on the bottom of her page (tickle*me*pink) for the time being, (which I will add to my page eventually) and are available to join whenever you wish to support the challenge leader, and know you're not alone.

If you would like to create a challenge, please sparkmail me a few days in advance, so that I can post it to the list, & the team will see it.
(Please remember, if you are supporting the challenge leaders, to post your daily results, so that who ever is in charge of the certain challenges can keep track of your progress.)
It's great to have you as part of the team. The disabilities topic is the main discussion area, where new comers introduce themselves. There are many topics created, and if you think there is something that you may want to post, please feel free to do so.
I look forward to reading your posts. (I do loyally read the posts, may not always respond, but I post in the "Jokes for our family Topic”. One, I'm not a great typist, so I do allot of "copy paste" work, and 2 my spelling is half French and half English LOL.) (I actually had Carol proofread this letter to you LOL)
