Hi, I thought it would be easier to just message you to answer your questions. I'm no expert by any means, I have gotten stuck many times, and fallen off the heathy lifestyle wagon, but it's about staying postive and reflecting on how far you've come. I slip back into bad habits too sometimes (like eating infront of the tv or whatever, ugh how dumb right? But it happens). When I get stuck I try to figure out what's wrong, eating too many or too few calories, not enough protein, not burning enough calories, etc. I've been losing and gaining the same 5lbs for the past year so believe me I know what it feels like to make changes and not see any progress on the scale. People say to focus on other measures of progress like pant or shirt size, or actual meaurements, but we both know it's really hard when the scale isn't confirming it too. The scale has some weird addictive power I don't know why.

If you're working really hard and just not seeing the weightloss you think you should, I'd try upping your cardio. I used to jog and the lbs fell off a lot faster. A mix of carido and strength training like BodyRock or weightlifting is really the way to go, so I think you're on the right track.

Also, try tracking your protein. I realized since I don't eat a lot of meat I wasn't getting enough protein and added a shake to my routine. Back when I was hardcore about losing weight I drank a protein shake right after my workout (within 30 mins) and saw results. I haven't found a brand that tastes good, so you'll have to ask other workout buddies for their recommendation.

Like you said, I also have about 20lbs to go. I think part of it is it's just harder to lose weight once you're smaller. We have to push ourselves a little more. What used to cut it back then our bodies have gotten used to. I don't recommend cutting back on your calories if you're working out really hard. Maybe shoot for the lower end of your range, but nothing too drastic.
