Another day closer to a healthier me...

This time I am starting with small adjustments so that my all or nothing mentality is not overwhelmed...and maybe I can make some new good habits.

I have always been an active and athletic person, but the person in the mirror is no longer the person that I still imagine myself to be. I know with the right motivation and determination that I can be healthy and in shape...I've just got to do it.

Here I go!

1) Drink water 8-10/day
2) Exercise 30 min/day X 4 days/wk
3) Eat 1 salad per day

My Program:
I'm just trying to start by meeting my small list of goals and seeing where that gets me.

Tracking my food, exercise, and weight is a good motivation to keep me on track.

My workouts are mostly YouTube videos...yoga, pilates, and those by Fitness Blender.

Married, mostly stay-at-home mom to a 2.5 year old boy.
Working as an RN.

Other Information:
I love to cook and am always trying new recipes.
I also like to read and enjoy being outdoors.

It's been tough :( My fiance has been sick for almost 10 days and hasn't been wanting to do much of anything. We went 3 days without juicing and it's seems like we keep eating outside when we know were trying to make juicing a full time habit. So.. very challenging to say the least. I would like to join the YMCA, but I don't know if my fiance would go with it. It's like we know what we need to do, but can't get it together. emoticon on your goals emoticon emoticon

I'm doing better thanks for asking. Still taking things slow. Pretty sure I'll be back and ready to go next week. Good thing is I haven't gained any weight since I've been sick. Weighed in two days ago and nothing changed so I'm Ok with that.

Wow that is great news! Keep up the good work!! Its always a nice thing to hear from someone else and it gives u a major boost of confidence and determination to keep going! When someone else notices change you know youre doing something right!
