I have had issues with my weight since adolescence. I could have a Ph.D in diet and exercise because of all the books I have read and things I have tried over the last 25 years for sure. I enjoy being active. I especially like to get outdoors. I lost 30 lbs. on Nutrisystem 3 years ago and very slowly have gained all of it back because I lost my workout routine and started allowing all those bad food habits to creep back into my life. I am a very busy mom of 3 very active boys and I work full-time. It is very hard work to stay healthy and it requires a balance that I am searching for...... but I want to feel like that athlete again.

My Goals:
I want to feel full of energy when my feet hit the floor in the morning.

I want to feel like an athlete again.

I want to feel fabulous and comfortable in the clothes that I like to wear.



My Program:
My plan is to consume 1200-1500 calories/day.

My goal is at least 30 minutes of cardio daily, but I prefer 60.

Strenghth training 3 times a week.

Take time to breathe, relax, meditate to reduce stress.

2 yogurts a day

64-100 oz. of water a day

Aiming for less sugar per day

Eating more fresh produce each day






Personal Information:
I am from S.E. Iowa.

I am a 49yr old working mom who had kids a bit later in life, so I am trying to keep up with a 16, 13 and 11 year old boy.

I love the outdoors. I love biking, walking, lake life.

I have a M.A. in Special Education.
I have been a KIndergarten teacher for 15 years now, so I need to have extra energy to make it through the day. I get about 8 weeks off in the summer to play.

I have adopted healthier habits over the past 9 years. I started eating healthier and took up spinning and other exercise. I lost 30 lbs on my own that I have never gained back. Then I added Nutrisystem and I have lost up to 40 lbs over the past few years but with life's little setbacks I gain up to 20 then have to lose it again!


Other Information:
It's about the marathon.... not the sprint!
