Update (3/15/13) Well, I just posted a blog about how well I'm doing with my fitness goals, so that's cool! I still don't think I'm eating enough, especially considering that SparkPeople has me down as burning about 2,500 calories a week and I'm not actually trying to lose weight... The food I AM putting into my body is healthier, though, and that is progress. I'm gonna stick with it.

I am a former Marine. When I joined, I was 118, and I actually gained 10 lbs in boot camp. Ever since then, I've pretty much hung around 130-135, but my weight has never been a huge concern of mine. I don't even own a scale. I base my idea of how I look on how my clothes fit and how outward my stomach gets after I eat. Weird, I know. I tend to think that I need a flat stomach in order to be attractive, so I go through these periods of borderline anorexia, where I'll spend 2 weeks eating just a bagel and some fruit or something similar. I actually just went through one of those periods and am back to feeling skinny. But I joined this site because I realize how unhealthy this sort of thing is. I'm looking for the motivation and support to stick to a consistent and clean diet so that I can maintain a healthy weight the HEALTHY way!

Thanks for the blog comment. I'm doing a Tough Mudder in August and another in October. Running is the only thing I'm not at all worried about! Great email with training programs for tough mudder. I work with a trainer and do group classes but I'm going to add someof those exercises as I want to increase my ability to do pull ups. Keep up the awesome work :-)
