I can do this. Mind over Matter.
How strong is your mind? Is it strong enough to tell your body no, even when it really wants something? Is it strong enough to override the want to stay still? Is it strong enough to say no to that third slice of pizza? Is it strong enough to say no to that spending spree when you lack the immediate funds (no credit cards!)? My Goals:
Feb 23rd 2013: 1) Lose 5% of my weight (19 lbs) in 8 week challenge 2) Dine out only once per wk 3) Burn 970 cal per wk 4) Journal at least 1 x wk 5) Enjoy life's adventures.
My Program:
To lose weight: 1) Healthy choices 2) Choose tea over soda 3) Take it 1 day at a time 4) Make it a habit to journal every Sunday - more if needed 5) Log calories and exercise
Personal Information:
I am a 33 yo single woman who is the mother to a 12 yo daughter. We live in a small town, and enjoy visiting new places. I try to be a very optimistic person. One of my downfalls is I am a perfectionist when it comes to dealing with myself.
Other Information:
I like to have fun. I love movies, taking pictures, reading books, trying yummy new foods, surfing the internet, etc. But it's not all fun and games. I do know how to settle down and get the job done.
