Hello, my name is Hattie! A mom of 2, and wife of 15 years. My journey started in 2012. while I haven't lost all of the weight I wanted, I have learned so much about myself. Both physically and mentally.
I will be turning 40 in June and have spent much of my 30's doing the up down up down weight loss game. I have been a gym rat and a couch potato. This last year my family and I experienced lots of losses 2-- that were particularly devastating my sister, and my mother in law. 1 we knew was coming--my mom in law had cancer for the 2nd time, but my sister was out of the blue. I am a faithful person, and know Heavenly Fathers plans, but it is still hard.
I have really taken the last 6 months to process, and just be. I needed healing time, positioning time, and a few Oreo parties. I have felt for the last month that I was ready to just do/be more.
So today I stepped on the scale----I have gained 25 pounds!!! This is on top of the 100 I had to lose, YIKES!!!
So I am committing to being back at it on Monday, meal planning, prepping, and shopping this weekend. My hubby who has also gained 25lbs is joining me on this ride, as well as our 13 year old daughter.---She just doesn't know it ;)
I love challenges, chats, and quotes that get me over those boredom humps.

My favorite thing to do for myself is read at least 15 minutes a day. It relaxes me, and helps me re-center when things are crazy
