My Weight Loss Journey

My name is Teeha, and I live in Northern Ca. I am a bubbly person and I love food. Unfortunately, I let food control me, and now it is time to turn the tables.

My name is Teeha, and I live in Northern Ca. I am a bubbly person and I love food. Unfortunately, I let food control me, and now it is time to turn the tables.

I am a tech geek, love to read, and watch a variety of shows. I also loved to snack on my favorite garlic pretzels for every showed I watched. Exercise was never a major priority in my sights and I always had some excuse why I didn't have time. I would walk around the marina but eat the same way thinking that helped. I did the gym a few times here and there but distance and work was always a factor. I just spent the last two years making several life altering decisions that were successful but I have done poorly with my health and weight. I removed a lot of road blocks that I used as an excuse until what remained were the main reasons why I haven't been successful which are focus, desire, motivation and determination.

I decided two weeks ago the time is now. I have the right mind set, I have determination and the motivation. I have the tools that I need to be successful. I was a Atkins fan for many years. I lost quite alot when I did the induction but soon as I started eating regular again the pounds that I lost brought some friends. So now, I don't do diets. I made a life style change, threw out all the junk food, tossed the sodas and now if you look in my frig you will see fruit, veggies, chick or fish. I drink water and green tea.

I found a few things that I enjoy doing in the gym and my jump-start was great. I polished my bike off and will be riding that regularly. I am looking forward to walking without my back hurting and walking up the stairs without feeling like I am going to faint.

Hey Gurlfriend. Thank you so much. I wish I was, but I'm far from it. I can't seem to stick to my diet and I really don't know what to do about it. I'm lost....
