A New Purpose in Life
I have struggled with my weight for many years--with some successes but many disappointments along the way--and now that I have a daughter, I'm determined to get healthy once and for all so that I can set a good example for her and truly enjoy every minute I have to spend with her. My Goals:
My goal right now is simple: First, I am focusing on losing the weight I gained during pregnancy. After I've achieved that goal, I will assess how much farther I have to go to attain a healthy weight and fitness level.
My Program:
As a new mother, my first priority is taking care of my daughter. To avoid overwhelming myself with a complicated program while I'm still adjusting to new parenthood, I'm simply going to start by tracking what I eat and aiming to get in some kind of physical activity each day.
Personal Information:
I am a 29-year old Southern California native who works at an academic publishing company. I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world, who loves me no matter what size, shape, or mood I'm currently in. I am also a new mommy--our beautiful daughter was born in March 2011, and we are over the moon for her!
